Reroll: 40 free pulls after the prologue

After the prologue, you get roughly 40 free pulls. Use them to aim for an S-Rank character who will carry you all early game. Top picks: Nanally (S-Tier DPS), Sakiri (S-Tier support) or Zero (versatile DPS).

If you are not happy with your reroll, delete the account and start over: it takes 20 minutes.

Combat mechanics to master

  • Parry: press at the right time to block an attack and reduce damage. Parry frames are short, train against basic enemies.
  • Dodge: quick roll to fully avoid a hit. Prefer it against charged attacks that cannot be parried.
  • Cycle Rate: fill this gauge by attacking to trigger the Esper Cycle, the signature mechanic of the game.
  • Esper Cycle: switch between your characters to chain special skills and maximize damage.
  • Break Meter: the white bar of enemies. Once broken, the enemy is stunned and takes massive damage. Daffodil excels in this role.
  • Awakening: character upgrade system. Invest in your main DPS first.

Team: just one, not several

Resources are scarce at the start. Focus everything on a single team of 3 characters. Over-leveling one team beats two weak teams. Same goes for ARCs: equip your best sets on the main DPS.

Recommended beginner composition:

  • 1 main DPS: Nanally, Zero, Daffodil or Chiz
  • 1 Support / Buff: Sakiri, Haniel
  • 1 Tank / Survival: Adler, Fadia or Edgar

Story first

Run the Main Episodes and Spin-offs before side quests. They unlock the Hunters' Guides, essential leveling resources, plus the side modes (Anomaly Hunt, City Tycoon).

Hunter Level and Appraisal Level

These two gauges unlock content: max character level, access to Anomaly Pilgrimage, S-Rank ARCs, etc. Level them regularly by completing daily missions.

Exploration: open the fast-travel

ReroRero Cabines and Wertheimer Towers are your teleport points. Always activate them while exploring: it saves hours over the long run. Our Hethereau interactive map lists every point of interest with category search.

City Tycoon: turn it on early

This parallel mode (urban real estate management) generates passive rewards continuously. Activate it as soon as it unlocks and collect daily: it is free and compounds over time.

Codes: redeem now

Promo codes grant Annulith (pull currency), materials and sometimes free pulls. Our up-to-date list of active codes is in the guide tips section.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Spreading resources across multiple teams: no, focus a single team.
  • Neglecting exploration: chests and teleport points save game time.
  • Ignoring the Witch's House: Divination grants valuable bonuses.
  • Stalling on Hunter and Appraisal Level: do the dailies, they are quick.
  • Diving into the main quest without a solid team: you will stall on the first tough boss.
