City Tycoon is the parallel economy mode of Neverness to Everness. You manage your business in Hethereau, properties and cafe to generate Fons and unlock passive rewards.
How to unlock City Tycoon
The mode opens after your interaction with Chiz during the tutorial quest "Good Morning, Hethereau". She gives you a debit card at Bridge Crossings Plaza and explains the system. Plan 1-2 hours of play to reach this point.
The dedicated stamina system
City Tycoon has its own stamina, called City Stamina. Each activity costs a fixed amount and unlocks its reward at the end of the timer. At level 1, your cap is 100. Level 5 raises it to 200, level 10 to 350, and level 16 to 500.
The 7 mode activities
- Properties: apartments to furnish with Anomaly Furniture. Furniture gives passive bonuses.
- Cafe by Origen: passive business generating Fons. Hire characters to boost sales.
- Hethereau Hobbies: varied side jobs (package delivery, taxi, fishing...). All reward Fons.
- Races: 6 competitive stages with obstacles, increasing difficulty.
- Garage: buy and customize vehicles (cosmetics + engine upgrades).
- Hunter Exchange: convert your stacked Fons into Annulith and other useful resources. Higher level, better ratios.
- Wealth Board: top 100 leaderboard of richest players in Fons. Profile titles awarded to top finishers.

The ultimate reward: free Chiz
Reaching level 18 unlocks Chiz as a free S-Rank. Continuing to level 45 maxes her 6 awakenings and her associated ARC. For a free S-Rank, this is your number one long-term goal.
Optimal daily routine
- Login: claim Cafe passive Fons (10 seconds)
- Priority hobbies: pick the activity with the best Fons / stamina ratio (often deliveries in early game)
- Drain stamina on the most profitable hobbies
- Weekly Hunter Exchange: convert excess Fons into Annulith
5 mistakes to avoid
- Buying vehicle cosmetics before level 10: Fons are better invested in level progression for stamina cap.
- Neglecting the Cafe: it is passive income, missing claim two days in a row is expensive.
- Converting Hunter Exchange at low level: ratios are bad before level 6.
- Ignoring the Chaotic Dyes received at certain tiers: they are valuable ascension materials.
- Rushing Wealth Board without a plan: top 100 takes weeks of intensive farming.
